SOMEBODY ASKED ME TO DEFINE GOD:

WHO AM I?

A reality is a perception with a reference point - nothing is real, everything is virtual - today we exist tomorrow we are gone, just like a rainbow it's a result of cause and effect - I cannot define myself without a reference point - I am a son with reference to my parents, I am a father with reference to my children, I am a husband with reference point to my wife, I am teacher with reference point to my students - So to define anything we need to find out our reference point first- what we think, we become or it's our reality.

We are the creatures of our own mental perception. We tend to project the images of our mind created by our parents or our environment or by observing – in short we are the product of our environment or what we think ultimately becomes our reference point. The reference point of our Rabb/Allah is our awareness, our own perception created by our conceiving the idea we have created by our own level of consciousness – We identify ourselves according to the images we create in our mind, either good or bad.

WHO IS GOD ACCORDING TO QURAN?

We cannot define God without a tangible manifestation to human senses, for that we need a reference point. Without a reference point we cannot define anything. We know that we are an effect of an evolution but we don't know what caused that evolution or who is that Evolver who caused all evolutions.

We see that all the constituents and actions are governed by universal natural laws and a perfect vital force, we can define it as consciousness or a single soul. However we still have to discover many universal law and may even have to amend our present perceptions based on our present level of thinking. An immaterial entity cannot create or affect a material entity like the Cosmos, there has to be some vital force, an Energy or a Matter. From the essential perspective, the soul of every living organism is perfect in every way and is independent of any actions of the organism and is considered divine or possess godly qualities. But the epithet of god is given to the soul in whom its properties manifest in accordance with its inherent nature.

A human or any living organism can be divine but never be an omnipotent God as we are just a microorganism of a limitless all encompassing Organism. However some philosophies believes them as an embodiment or Avatar of God but Islam rejects any idea that creates an idol or deity which is prone to worship and that promotes rituals and it considers none of these gods, deity or idols as a Creator.

The Arabic word Khaliq is wrongly interpreted as Creator, in Quranic sense its actual essence is Natural Evolver. Akhlaq a derivative of خلق means nature or character. One of the attributes of Allah is Awal and Akhir that signifies that the one who has no end and no beginning thus there is no need for a creator God as a deity. The verse 3:2 acknowledges this fact that He is ever living and everlasting means He was always there and will remain there forever.

اللّهُ لَا إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ -

3:2 - The Allah is no ilah [the one which we serve or adore] except / but He, the Ever-Living, the Eternal.

Allah is not an ilah, our ilah is actually system of Consciousness which is termed as Allah an attribute of Rabb [Consciousness] and Quran also termed it as Samad [nothing for Him everything is for others as He is independent and tends to serve all without expecting anything from others].

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ Nominative case - Allah is not a god but the system of consciousness. We cannot define Allah by name but he can only be identified by His Attributes / Qualities or Nature.

Islam is a human centred philosophy, it has nothing to do with God, the Creator. Our own Consciousness is our God. What we sow so shall we reap is the core message of Islam. We are self accountable for everything we do. We are the culprit and we are the judge there is no intervening God as the Judge. Heaven and Hell are all state of mind. Evolution is the part of every organism and nobody is going to escape from that process. We are evolved from the single Consciousness or Psyche and to Him is our return.

But sadly existence of consciousness is axiomatic (meaning that it does not rest upon anything in order to be valid, and it cannot be proven by any "more basic" premises) because it is necessary for all knowledge that cannot be denied without conceding its truth (a denial of something is only possible if existence exists). "Existence exists" is therefore an axiom which states that there is something, as opposed to nothing.

Consciousness is the faculty which perceives and identifies things that exist. In his famous formulation "Cogito ergo sum" ("I think therefore I am"), Rene Descartes argued that consciousness is axiomatic, because you cannot logically deny your mind's existence at the same time as using your mind to do the denying.

However, what Rene Descartes did not make clear is that consciousness is the faculty that perceives that which exists, so it requires something outside of itself in order to function: it requires, and is dependent upon, existence. The primacy of existence states that existence is primary and consciousness is secondary, because there can be no consciousness without something existing to perceive. Existence is independent of, makes possible, and is a prerequisite of consciousness. Consciousness is not responsible for creating reality: it is completely dependent upon reality or it is that reality which cannot be proven.

An atom is the smallest constituent unit of ordinary matter. Every solid, liquid, gas and plasma is composed of neutral or ionized atoms. The idea that matter is made up of discrete units is a very old idea, appearing in many ancient cultures such as Greece and India. However, these ideas were founded on philosophical and theological reasoning rather than evidence and experimentation. As a result, their views on what atoms look like and how they behave were not acceptable by the intellectuals. They also could not convince everybody, so atomism was but one of a number of competing theories on the nature of matter. It was not until the 19th century that the idea was embraced and refined by scientists, when the blossoming science of chemistry produced discoveries that could explain the concept of atoms.

The reason of discussing atom is that every new concept or discoveries is based is labelled as hypothesis as its knowledge is ahead of its time thus unacceptable by the general masses. We know the reference point of atom is matter, without matter there won't be any atom and vice versa, but we don't have complete knowledge about matter. people are still unaware about the reference point of Consciousness because they cannot find its reference point as they are still in the process to find their own selves. To understand Consciousness we should first understand ourselves. We jump to conclusions without having the knowledge of our self....
